WANTED: Families To Photograph
I’m looking for 4 Brisbane families with 2–3 kids aged 2–12 who are happy to have a bit of fun and let me experiment with some new black & white portrait ideas.
I want to go beyond simply taking nice family photos and capture the things you’ll want to remember — their personalities, the laughs, cuddles, cheekiness and the way your kids are with each other right now.
Because this stage changes quickly. They grow, they change, and before long the little things you see every day become the things you miss most.
The goal is to create photographs that give you that feeling of knowing you’ve captured this part of your family’s story — memories you can see, enjoy and keep in your home for years to come.
The sessions will take place at my studio in The Gap on Saturday 19 September.
As a thank you, your family will receive a photography session plus your choice of an 11×14" Fine Art Matted Portrait or $300 artwork credit.
You’ll have the opportunity to purchase more photographs or artwork if you’d like to, but there’s no obligation.
I only need 4 families, and you’ll need to be happy for selected photographs to be used on my website, social media and marketing.

As a thank you for letting me try some new creative ideas, if selected you’ll receive your photography session plus either an 11×14" Fine Art Matted Portrait or $300 artwork credit. If you love more from your session, you’ll have the option to purchase additional artwork, with no obligation.

Because there are only 4 sessions available, a $100 reservation fee secures your family’s time. If you choose the 11×14" Fine Art Matted Portrait, the $100 can be refunded. If you choose artwork instead, the $100 is added to your artwork credit.

We’ll guide you through everything while creating a mixture of beautiful portraits, cuddles, laughs and those little interactions that actually feel like your family.
Your kids don’t need to be “good at photos”.
They just need to be themselves.

Keep it super simple and timeless. Men and boys: blue jeans or chinos with a plain white long- or short-sleeve shirt. Ladies and girls: can wear the same or simple neutral or light-toned tops, dresses or blouses that feel comfortable and photograph well. Avoid large logos, patterns and anything too distracting — the focus should stay on your family.
