The Whole Crew, we understand the unique challenges neurodiverse families face when it comes to professional photography. That’s why we’ve designed every aspect of our sessions to remove stress, eliminate pressure, and celebrate your family’s authentic story.
Here’s what you and your family can look forward to:
No Overwhelm: We skip the studio—your session happens outdoors or at home, in a calm, sensory-friendly environment where your child can move, breathe, and be themselves.
No Rush: There’s no stopwatch here. We allow plenty of time for breaks, settling in, or just taking a moment—so your family can relax and enjoy the experience.
No Misunderstanding: As a dad to a neurodivergent child, I get it. You won’t need to explain or apologize—our sessions are built with your family’s needs in mind.
No Forced Poses: Eye contact and sitting still aren’t required. We capture your family as you are—laughing, playing, and connecting—so your photos feel true to who you are.
No Disappointment: If the session doesn’t go as planned or your child has a meltdown, we’ll reschedule at no extra cost. And if you don’t love your photos, you don’t pay—guaranteed.

The Discovery Call: Let’s Get to Know Each Other
Let’s make sure this is the right fit—for you, your dog, and your whole family.
Once you’re ready, we’ll hop on a relaxed, no-pressure 15–20 minute call (phone or Zoom) to:
Talk about your dog’s personality, quirks, and any special needs
Discuss who’s joining the session and what matters most to your family
Choose the best Brisbane location for your dog’s vibe—or your own backyard for extra comfort
Answer any questions about what to wear, bring, or expect
Share ideas for how you’d love to enjoy your images—framed, in an album, or something totally unique
Be honest about whether this experience is right for you. If it is, amazing! If not, that’s okay too—no hard feelings
No surprises. Just clarity, connection, and a plan that feels good for everyone.
The Photography Session: Where the Real Magic Happens
This is where we let go of “perfect” and celebrate what’s real.
Your session isn’t about posing or performing. It’s about capturing the genuine connection between you, your dog, and your family—just as you are. Whether it’s wild zoomies, quiet cuddles, muddy paws, or giggles, we follow your family’s rhythm and let the moments unfold naturally.
We always encourage you to bring the whole family—chaos included! That energy? It’s part of your story, and that’s exactly what we’re here to capture.
Most outdoor sessions last about 45–60 minutes, but we’re flexible—take as many breaks as you need
Plenty of time for pats, play, outfit changes, or just sitting quietly if that’s what feels right
We’ll send you a “what-to-wear” guide beforehand to help you feel confident and comfortable—no stress, just you being you
Choose Your Artwork: Make Your Memories Last
After your session, we’ll guide you through creating something beautiful and lasting for your home.
Within 2–10 days, we’ll meet via Zoom for a relaxed, unhurried design appointment. You’ll start with a slideshow of your images (tissues welcome!), then we’ll walk through your favourites and explore how they can come to life as wall art, albums, or keepsake prints.
