Welcome to Paul Elby Photography
As a top-rated dog and family photographer in Brisbane, we proudly serve pet lovers across the city and surrounding areas.
Our specialty is luxury dog portraits, family sessions with pets, and bespoke on-location experiences — crafted to capture the love, personality, and connection that belongs on your walls forever.
““We create a relaxed, joyful experience, guide you thoughtfully every step of the way, and deliver beautiful, timeless artwork you’ll treasure forever.””
We’re known for three things:
What To Expect
01 — Let’s Connect
We’ll start with a simple chat to get to know your dog, your goals, and the style of portraits you love. Together, we’ll plan a session designed to capture what matters most to you — intentional, personalised, and stress-free from the beginning.
02 — Enjoy Your Session
From gentle direction and guidance, I take care of everything so you can relax and enjoy the experience. Whether in studio, on location, or at home, I work at your dog’s and families pace, ensuring you all feel comfortable, confident, and completely themselves.
03 — Cherish Your Portraits
You’ll get to relive your session during your personalised artwork purchasing appointment. From wall art to albums to portrait collections, you’ll choose your favourites and turn them into pieces you’ll treasure for years to come.

Most families invest $1000 or more on their artwork. Some spend less, some more, it really depends on what works best for your needs. There’s no pressure and no minimum spend. I’ll guide you through the options during your viewing session and help you choose what works for your home and budget.
-
Nope. You’ll always know exactly what to expect before you book. No surprise fees, no sneaky upsells. Just honest pricing and beautiful results.
-
Absolutely not. I’ll help you choose your favourite images and only invest in what you love. There’s no obligation and no pushy sales tactics, just honest, helpful guidance.
-
That’s rare, but I offer a 100% happiness guarantee. If you’re not thrilled with your images, we’ll make it right.
-
Not at all. Sessions are designed to be laid-back and efficient. I work around your schedule and make the whole process easy, from planning to final delivery.

Weather Considerations
We all hope for perfect weather, and Brisbane usually delivers—but nature can be unpredictable. While light cloud or breeze often creates beautiful conditions, we may reschedule in cases of persistent rain, hail, extreme heat or cold, or strong winds.
Because conditions can change quickly, we usually make a final weather call just a few hours before the session. Please trust that we’ll only reschedule if absolutely necessary—we’re experienced in creating stunning portraits in a variety of conditions, and we want the best possible outcome for you and your family.Emergencies/Illness (Client or Pet): If a genuine emergency or illness (Client or pet) prevents attendance, please notify the Photographer as soon as possible. The session will be rescheduled at no extra charge on one occasion, and any paid session/reservation fee will carry over to the new date. Proof may be requested.
Late Arrival: If the Client arrives more than 15-20 minutes late for a scheduled session or appointment without prior notification, it may be considered a no-show
